Looking forward to the upcoming Re:Zero game arriving to the PS4, Switch, and PC, but can’t understand Japanese? No worries! Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne will arrive to the West completely translated in English. You can expect its English release to arrive during Winter later this year. Unfortunately, the exact details are still up in the air, but that’s to be expected with translations and releases dated farther down the line.
No idea what we’re talking about? We’ve already written a more in-depth article covering the game’s original release in Japan.
In this iteration of the other Re:Zero games, players will follow an original story that’s set about a month after Subaru comes to the new world. A new, sixth candidate has come to try and wrest Lugunica’s throne. It’s up to you to find out which candidate isn’t actually destined to rule.
Here are some extra screenshots of what the English version entails:
Spike Chunsoft also confirmed that there will be a Re:Zero: The Prophecy of the Throne $59.99 Day One Edition as well as a $89.99 Collector’s Edition. The Day One Edition comes with four pins of Subaru, Emilia, Rem, and a new character. The Collector’s Edition has the game, the pins, and a Steelbook case, art book, and official soundtrack.
Re:Zero: The Prophecy of the Throne will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC in Winter of 2020. The official website is now open in case you’re curious. The previous Re:Zero game was Death or Kiss.
