On Thursday, June 4th, Evo Online confirmed on their official Twitter account that Evo Registration would open. They also offered information on charity. Essentially, anyone in Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and the United States can sign up for free to participate. Those entering that want to pay $25 or more will receive a badge and lanyard for the event mailed to them and see the entire amount go to Project Hope.
Today, you can sign up for Evo Online for up to four games. That means people can sign up to take part in Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, Skullgirls 2nd Encore, and Them’s Fightin’ Herds.
The schedule’s also been announced. Them’s Fightin’ Herds is up first on July 4-5, 2020. Skullgirls 2nd Encore will follow on July 11-12, 2020. Killer Instinct’s tournaments will begin on July 18-19, 2020. Finally, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will kick things off on July 25-26, 2020. The full schedule also listed the local times for the different check ins and tournaments.

Project Hope’s goal with this event is to support people with healthcare and to train and provide necessary equipment for medical professionals and volunteers. In this case, all of Evo Online’s contributions will be directed to the charity’s COVID-19 efforts.
Evo Online is now underway. Open tournament events are scheduled to run until August 2, 2020. Have a good weekend everyone!
