Persona 5 and Sword Art Online Crossover

Bandai Namco has revealed details for an upcoming collaboration with Atlus. The cast of Persona 5 Royal will be joining smartphone titles Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag and Sword Art Online: Integral Factor. In the trailer above, you can see highlights of some of the Phantom Thieves in action.

Sword Art Online: Integral Factor x Persona 5 Royal

Both games will have the Phantom Thieves stumbling in the world of Aincrad, which is the setting of Sword Art Online. Apparently, a portal in Mementos has led them there, with some of the SAO monsters having been turned to shadows.

Players in Sword Art Online: Integral Factor will be able to receive Persona 5 Royal themed stickers as login bonuses and event awards.

Kasumi and Morgana will be skill characters that you earn through login bonuses and event awards. The other Phantom Thieves will be limited-time Skill Orders. There are also a separate set of Skill Orders with Kirito and other SAO characters cosplaying as the Phantom Thieves.

In Memory Defrag Joker, Skull, and Panther will be characters you can scout. Bandai Namco announced that you’ll be able to try and scout them for free once per day.

There will also be a special version of Yuuki. She’ll be dressed as Oracle and will be available as a collaboration event award (Both Yuuki and Futaba are voiced by Aoi Yuuki). Violet will be available as a login bonus gift character.

Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag and Sword Art Online: Integral Factor are both available for Apple iOS and Android devices. Persona 5 Royal is currently available in Japan for the PlayStation 4. The game will be available in North America and Europe on March 31, 2020.
