The anime fighting game developed by Arc System Works, Granblue Fantasy Versus, has finally been given a release date. The announcement means that players don’t have to wait long, considering it will be out next month on March 3, 2020.
For those who don’t know, Granblue Fantasy Versus is based off of the mobile game Granblue Fantasy. Characters such as Katalina, Ferry, Charlotta, Ladiva, and Lowain all make an appearance in the new fighting game. There are other characters, of course, along with the recently announced DLC fighters: Belial, Chaos Bringer, Djeeta, Narmaya, and Soriz.
There will be a standard version for folks who want to pick up the game, as well as a special edition coming soon. XSEED Games will have codes for items in Granblue Fantasy (the mobile game) including Character Passes, avatar sets, digital art books, and PlayStation 4 Themes. In Japan, there is a Dengeki Special Pack that comes with a drinking glass.
Granblue Fantasy Versus arrives to the PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 6, 2020. The game will be released in North America on March 3, 2020. Although no official announcement has been released for Europe, players can expect to see the game in the first quarter of 2020.
