An official tweet has announced that the hit free-to-play mobile game, Pokemon Masters, has passed over 20 million downloads worldwide as of January 30, 2020. Though, 10 million of those downloads came out during the first four days when the game launched. After that, it took them another four months to reach 20 million.
Despite it’s impressive start, the game fell fast mostly due to the lack of content. After six weeks of the game’s release, game producer Satoshi Sasaki addressed some of the issues that fans had with the game and apologized. Software updates arrived, as well as a road map that showcased upcoming changes for the next few months. It leads up until the game’s six month anniversary in March 2020.
Pokemon Masters recently released two legendary 5-star Pokemon, Zinnia and Rayquaza. They appear in a new legendary event if you want to add them to your team. A new log-in bonus is also active, giving you up to 4,200 gems over the course of 14 days.
New content, Professor Kukui and Lycanroc Sync Pair, should be arriving in the game within a few days.
Pokemon Masters launched last year in August 28, 2019. The game is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) devices.
