Compile Heart has updated the official website for Azur Lane: Crosswave with new screenshots for Taihou and Roon. They are two of the five DLC characters coming to the game.

Screenshots for Taihou and Roon, two of the five new DLC characters announced for Azure Lane: Crosswave, has been released on Compile Heart’s official website. Formidable, Le Malin, and Sirius make up the remaining three DLC characters for the game.

Each character will be fully voiced during both battle and the campaign. They will also each have their own story chapters in which they feature alongside the protagonist. Compile Heart has stated that each of these chapters will be about as long as a story chapter in the main game. They will also be usable in areas such as Photo Mode and Extreme Battle mode once they are purchased.

Azure Lane: Crosswave is a 3D shooter that is based off of the original free-to-play mobile game. Though, the story takes place in a parallel world featuring two new girls, Shimakaze and Suruga, as the protagonists. The game was released in Japan last year on August 2019. The game is expected to be released February (13th in North America and 21st in Europe) in the west.

There are currently no set release date for any of the DLC characters outside of Japan. Even more, there are no screenshots for Formidable, the second DLC character who was announced for the game.

Azure Lane: Crosswave will be released for the PlayStation 4 in North America on February 13, 2020 and Europe on February 21, 2020. The game is already out in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and the PC Steam version will be released on February 13, 2020.
